Numbers are building rapidly for the ILT’s Advanced Practice under the America Invents Act Conference, scheduled for Thursday and Friday, April 11 and 12, in the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Dallas. Co-chairs Lisa Jorgenson of ST Microelectronics and Marc Hubbard of Hubbard Law have created a very informative program and assembled a really strong faculty, including many senior in-house IP counsel, judges, and senior USPTO personnel. Highlights of the conference include a discussion of the unintended consequences of the AIA and its implementation, how to contest PTAB proceedings successfully, patent prosecution strategies under the AIA, and a discussion of critical issues still facing patent law.
