Overview

Join us on the afternoon of December 2nd for a behind the scenes look at the final chapter of Flowserve Corporation’s mandatory export compliance audit experience following its 2011 voluntary self-disclosure (VSD).

In September 2011, Flowserve Corporation, a leading global, fluid motion control company, agreed to settle allegations of sanctions and export control breaches with OFAC and BIS. As a condition of the VSD settlement, Flowserve agreed to undertake an independent audit of certain sites worldwide to ensure that its commitment to implement an enhanced global export compliance program was in place and effective.

At the December 2nd program, Flowserve’s Export Compliance Team and its outside counsel from Kelley Drye Warren LLP will outline the steps they took to launch the post-VSD compliance audit and the additional steps taken to further enhance the company’s export compliance program. Talking points will include: how the audits were planned, managed and carried out; how on-going risks were addressed; obstacles and challenges encountered along the way and how they were addressed. Special Agent Todd Marr of the Dallas Field Office of the Office of Export Enforcement will also be speaking.

The program will begin with an informal lunch at noon. CLE sessions start at 1:00 and conclude at 5:00 p.m., followed by a reception.
