Overview
Join fellow Academy Alumni at the 2015 Reunion in the beautiful city of Sarajevo, the country where three big cultures and religions meet. The costs for lunches and acivities will be $375 USD per person. Travel and accommodations are not covered.

Thursday, October 1
- Afternoon - Arrival and hotel check-in
- Evening - Welcome reception and Dinner at Vinoteka Restaurant
Friday, October 2, 2015
- Morning
- Visit to Municipality Court of Sarajevo, the biggest Court in Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Guided visit to the Courtroom where Gavrilo Princip was tried. He assassinated Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria and his wife, Sophie, Duchess of Hohenberg, in Sarajevo on 28 June 1914
- Visit to the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Afternoon
- Visit to the American Chamber (US Ambassador participation to be confirmed)
- Lunch – courtesy of the AmCham
- Meeting with the representatives of the Regional Bar Association Sarajevo and Bar Association East Sarajevo followed with the cocktail
- Evening
- Kod Kibeta – Restaurant up, up, up in the hills of Sarajevo, spectacular view of the City
Saturday, October 3, 2015
- Morning
- Bus trip and special guided visit to the Fojnica Franciscan Monastery and the Museum (XIV century) Sponsored by the Monastery. Heating system in the Museum donated by the USAID Mission to BiH.
- Afternoon
- Lunch in the Monastery – courtesy of the Monastery
- Return to Sarajevo in the earlier afternoon
- Guided tour in the old town, including the place of Sarajevo 1914 assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria and his wife, Sophie, Duchess of Hohenberg in 1914 (2 hours)
- Evening
- Fare well dinner – Sarajevska pivnica, Sarajevo brewery, VIP Salon
Sunday, October 4, 2015
- Morning
Suggestions close to Sarajevo: - Panoramic tour (2 hours) of Sarajevo city, including War Museum Tunnel,
- Visit to Vrelo Bosne - The well of the river Bosna, below the Igman Mountain,
- Visit to Jahorina or Bjelašnica for walking, easy hiking, spa, or just coffee/ lunch, beautiful air and relax
- Morning
Suggestions – Downtown area: - The Church of Saint Anthony of Padua is a Roman Catholic church
- Afternoon
Suggestions – different corners of Bosnia and Herzegovina: - Jajce – city with the waterfall in it’s heart
- Mostar – city with the extraordinary bridge, the heart of Herzegovina
- Travnik – city- birth place of Nobel prize winner for literature – Ivo Andric
- Evening
Suggestions: - Visegrad – beautify city Ivo Andric wrote about in the Novel The bridge over the Drina river
- Banja Luka – beautiful city with the beautiful Castle on the river Vrbas
- Bihać – beautiful city with the famous Una river – excellent for kayaking
