It is with great pleasure that I became Secretary General of the
Academy Alumni, through election by the 2007
During the coming year, I will update you with the news of our
projects for 2007-2008. I ask each of you to be in touch with me about items
from your personal and professional life which you would like me to share in a
Newsletter to the Alumni.
Let us be a real Family that unites and includes all of us, WE ARE THE WORLD!
We are only a few short weeks away from the European Alumni meeting
in
2007
Alumni - European Meeting in Helsinki, Finland October 4-6, 2007
The Latin American Alumni meeting will be held March 1-2, 2008
in Mexico . This will coincide with the IBA-Americas portion of the IBA meeting
which will take place February 28-29. Please plan your itinerary at this early
stage so that you will be able to attend. Key planners for the event are Marie
Galindo (Mexico ) and Petrusca Leite (Brazil ).
The Academy Alumni E-Magazine is posted on the Alumni page of the
CAIL website. For those who send us your articles, we thank you. We need
additional articles on current legal matters. They will be posted to the site
and will not be edited in any fashion. Please refer to the E-Magazine which is
linked to the Alumni website.
