A reputation of great community relations and years of good policing can be eroded by one single act of police excessive force or the perception thereof. On September 27-29,2010, the Institute for Law Enforcement Administration hosted a conference designed to equip police managers, supervisors and tacticians with information and skills to lead, manage and navigate their organizations through a critical incident.
