Best Practices in Law Enforcement Investigations:
The Role of Law Enforcement Ethics and Leadership in Avoiding Wrongful Convictions

This law enforcement-specific program is funded by a grant from the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. Designed by law enforcement leaders, investigative specialists and academics, it will provide attendees with information on the causes of wrongful criminal convictions, and insights on the means by which investigators can help ensure that the right suspect is in custody.
