Designed with the help of law enforcement professionals, this program focuses on causes of wrongful criminal convictions that can be impacted by law enforcement officers. Among possible topics: Brady issues, forensic issues, tunnel vision, interrogations and eyewitness identifications. TCOLE Credit will be available pending approval.
COVID Warning and Protocols (Updated 1/31/2022): In an effort to ensure the safety of participants and staff, program participants will be required to follow certain procedures that comply with CAIL-mandated safety protocols for our building: CAIL’s Criminal Justice Programs COVID Protocols.
Additionally, bear in mind that individuals are at different comfort levels with social interaction, even when fully vaccinated. Please respect the boundaries set by each individual, including closeness during conversations and physical contact, such as hand shaking, and be mindful of CDC recommendations on matters such as hand washing.
