The Little Elm Police Department hosted a FREE class on Stress Recognition. The class was for 8 hours of TCLEOSE credit and was held twice. The first class was on Tuesday March 12th and the second class was on Wednesday March 13th.
Be advised that since Little Elm PD is NOT a training provider, the hours will not be reported directly by us. Attendees will be given a Certificate of Attendance with all appropriate information and course number in order to take it back to the attendees respective agencies Training Coordinator to report the hours.

This training identified specific stress inducing triggers and tactics to mitigate the demands of those stressful times. Stress is a known killer in American society. Occasionally; officers and their family members ignore the symptoms of stress and fail to implement simple steps to recognizing and managing the unseen dangers that can destroy officers and the family.
