The Center’s Criminal Justice programs have two primary goals – to improve the trial skills of defense lawyers and prosecutors; and to help safeguard the justice system against wrongful convictions. With grants from the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, we offer three kinds of programs – continuing education seminars just for defense lawyers; similar seminars just for prosecutors; and programs on actual innocence that bring together all of the principal actors in the justice system.
