Luncheon Overview

The Center for American and International Law (CAIL) will hold a special luncheon in honor of Judge Patrick E. Higginbotham to celebrate his 50 years of service to the legal community on Monday, March 25, 2013 at the Belo Mansion in Dallas.

“We are thrilled to honor our good friend and colleague in this tangible way,” said George W. Bramblett Jr., partner at Haynes and Boone, LLP and luncheon chair. “Judge Higginbotham is enjoying a long and fascinating career and we are pleased to highlight his many accomplishments.”

In addition to his judicial and community service, Judge Higginbotham chaired the Board of Trustees at CAIL for twelve years. Thanks to his stewardship, CAIL continues to provide top-quality legal education to tens of thousands of lawyers and law enforcement officers from all 50 states and 130 countries.

The luncheon will feature several esteemed speakers from the legal community, including:

  • The Honorable Carl E. Stewart, Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit
  • The Honorable Wallace B. Jefferson, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Texas
  • The Honorable Sidney A. Fitzwater, Chief District Judge, Northern District of Texas

Dress is business attire. Individual tickets are $175.
