The Academy of American and International Law (sponsored by the Institute for International and Comparative Law) provides an opportunity for people from outside the United States to study American and international legal and business institutions, with an emphasis on American legal institutions and process. The Academy is business oriented and addresses a wide range of law-related commercial transactions.

2008 Alumni leadership chosen
At the annual meeting of the Academy Alumni, held during the 2008 Session, the Association elected Lelen Lim (Philippines) as its Secretary General for 2008-2009, Matteo Trabacchin (Italy) and Daniel Glymin (Ghana) as Deputy Secretaries General and Luiz Virgilio Manente as its 2008 Class Spokesperson.

Alumni E-Magazine
The E-Magazine is an online collection of papers from past Academy participants.

Bernardo Porras, the 2001-2002 Secretary General of the Alumni Association, originally conceived the idea for an E-Magazine at the 2001 Academy.
