Established in 1963, the Institute for International and Comparative Law (IICL), formerly the International and Comparative Law Center, offers annual programs that focus on international business transactions and private investments abroad.

IICL's long-standing programs — the Symposium on Critical Global Markets and the Academy of American and International Law — have each been offered annually for more than 30 years. Together, they have attracted participants from more than 120 countries.

In 2006 a new program was added addressing International Corporate Compliance.
