Overview

This program will be helpful both to lawyers experienced in cross examination techniques and those who are not. Keynote speaker Terence F. MacCarthy is one of the country's leading authorities on cross examination and will focus lectures and discussions on effective cross examination skills and impeachment of a prosecution witness. This non-capital course features lectures, practice sessions and a two-hour ethics presentation.

The State Bar of Texas has approved this program for a total of 13.5 hours, including 2 hours of ethics. Course ID Number: 901340326.

In addition to Texas, after the program (if requested) CAIL will directly apply for course accreditation in the following states, as long as course materials and evaluations are not required: California, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. Attorneys may be eligible to receive CLE credit through attorney self-submission in other states, as long as course materials and evaluations are not required to be submitted.
