The
Advisory Board is comprised of representatives designated
by ITA Members. Depending on the level of membership, ITA members may designate multiple representatives on the Institute’s Advisory Board, each of whom is invited to attend, without charge, the annual ITA Workshop, the annual ITA Advisory Board Dinner Meeting later that evening and the ITA Forum (the following morning) - an informal, invitation-only roundtable discussion on current issues in the field.
The
Advisory Board has grown rapidly in recent years, a recognition
of ITA's value as an important annual meeting place for leading
arbitrators and arbitration practitioners from around the
world. There are currently over 350 members of the Advisory
Board from six continents.
Members
of the Advisory Board gather each June in Dallas at the Annual
Advisory Board Reception and Dinner Meeting, which takes place
on the evening of the annual Workshop. In addition to the
Workshop and Annual Meeting, Advisory Board members are invited
to attend the ITA Forum, an informal invitation-only roundtable
discussion on the morning after the Workshop. Attendance at
all of these events is cost-free to Advisory Board members
as a member benefit. Advisory Board Members also receive a substantial discount off the price of all other ITA programs, all ITA educational DVD products, and selected publications of Juris Publishing and Oxford University Press, as well as a free subscription to ITA’s quarterly newsletter, News and Notes, and a free subscription to ITA’s law journal, World Arbitration and Mediation Review.
The
Advisory Board is led by its Executive
