Overview

Presented by Young ITA

Hosted by WAGNER Arbitration

Join us for an evening of discussion and debate, followed by drinks. The evening is aimed at more junior practitioners but all are welcome to attend. We hope that you will be able to join us for what we are sure will be a very lively and enjoyable evening.

Once a year in June, Berlin Tech Open Air (TOA) brings together young entrepreneurs, corporate leaders and tech enthusiasts from all over the world who all share the passion of creating something new and disruptive. When ideas gain traction and new products hit the market, legal conflicts may arise. How such conflicts are managed, in particular through arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, and what Start-Ups can learn from big corporations in this respect is the topic of our Young ITA Talks session with Dr. Alexander Steinbrecher, General Counsel of BVG, Berlin’s cool public transport company. As a former Head of Legal Germany for the delivery services Gorilla and Getir, Head of Legal Germany of Alstom and board member of Bombardier Transportation as well as an experienced disputes lawyer, Alexander has been managing conflicts for big and small, new and established companies. He will provide us with lessons learned and stories to be told, while Berlin’s dispute resolution boutique WAGNER Arbitration will provide the opportunity to network over drinks. We are looking forward to seeing you in Berlin!

#YoungITATalks is a series of local events presented around the world, featuring talks, workshops or interviews that cover a wide range of subjects relating to arbitration. The #YoungITATalks series is designed for education, conversation and sharing knowledge and experiences among young practitioners.

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsor, this event is tuition-free and includes drinks. Please register in advance to help us have an accurate headcount.  This is only an in-person event.
