Program Overview

Attorneys who defend clients accused of child abuse or work with child victims regularly encounter graphic evidence, painful interviews, and trauma narratives. Prolonged exposure to this material can result in secondary traumatic stress, vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue, burnout, anxiety, depression, or substance-use problems.

Join us for a session on Second-hand Trauma. The Webinar will take place on December 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM CST. Registration is required.

This course is funded by a grant from the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals.
