The ILT has teamed up with the International Bar Association’s Electronic Entertainment and Online Gaming Committee to present an International Video Game Law Summit on June 23 and 24 in Plano, Texas. Aimed at lawyers, executives, developers and entrepreneurs in the video game industry, the summit will look at and anticipate technological and legal change, as well as providing practical advice on business structures, tax and intellectual property. Conventional finance options and crowd funding will be examined, as will hacking and ways to prevent it.
Co-chairs Doug Kenyon (Hunton & Williams), Mark Methenitis (T-Mobile) and John Vernon (The Vernon Law Group) have assembled a first class faculty from around the United States. MCLE credit will be available for the summit. For more details, click here.
