The Institute for Law and Technology Appoints Clint Wilkins as New Advisory Board Vice Chair

The Center for American and International Law’s ("CAIL") Institute for Law and Technology ("ILT") today announced the appointment of Dallas-based IP attorney Clint Wilkins, Ph.D. (Haynes & Boone, LLP) to succeed Larry K. Bassuk as vice chair of ILT’s advisory board.

As a national forum on intellectual property and technology-related legal issues of policy and practice affecting counsel and companies in the digital age, ILT provides members comprised of leading national and international corporations, law firms, attorneys, and professors with continuing education and professional opportunities such as annual conferences, seminars, and other membership activities.

Wilkins is a partner at Haynes & Boone, LLP and focuses primarily on patent law. He leverages his engineering background and industry experience in research and development to assist clients with patent post-grant proceedings, patent preparation and prosecution, patent litigation support, and related counseling. He advises clients spanning multiple technologies, including telecommunications, consumer electronics, medical devices, and chemical manufacturing. His practice includes counseling senior management of emerging technology companies at various stages of maturity to help manage all aspects of their intellectual property needs. Within ILT, Wilkins has been a valuable member of the planning committee for its annual conference on intellectual property law for many years and has served as a module chair for the conference since 2019.
