The Center for American and International Law Announces New Board Appointments

Randall M. Ebner, chair of The Center for American and International Law’s (CAIL) board of trustees, announced board elections and leadership role assignments during a board meeting held at CAIL's education center in Plano on Nov. 28.

Highlights:

  • Julia Simon (former chief legal counsel of Mary Kay Inc.) elected as vice chair.
  • The Hon. Dale Wainwright (Greenberg Traurig LLP), formerly vice chair, elected as chair of the Executive Committee, succeeding Dee Kelly Jr. (Kelly Hart & Hallman, LLP).
  • Taylor H. Wilson (Haynes and Boone LLP) elected as secretary.
  • Margaret Keliher (The Dallas Breakfast Club) re-elected as treasurer.

Thomas (T.L.) Cubbage, CAIL’s president, commented on the significance of the board's composition and the recent elections. “The Center for American and International Law has always been guided by the expertise and dedication of leading attorneys, judges, professors, and law enforcement officials. These recent elections and the continued commitment of our trustees are pivotal in continuing this tradition. Their collective experience and wisdom are invaluable in guiding CAIL's mission of advancing justice and promoting the rule of law globally,” said Cubbage.

The newly appointed members join Ebner, Cubbage, and Harriet Miers, immediate past chair, to complete the CAIL board leadership team.
