About the Event

This March, The Center for American and International Law will proudly present international human rights lawyer Hauwa Ibrahim in Washington, D.C.!

Ibrahim is recognized worldwide for her work with over 150 women and children tried under Sharia law in northern Nigeria, including two highly publicized cases in which she applied the rule of law to win appeals for women sentenced to death by stoning.
