Overview

Dear Alumni,

It is great honor and pleasure, that Krakow has been chosen as a place for the Alumni reunion in Europe.

In 1996 I was attending the CAIL Academy at Southern Methodist University together with young lawyers from so many jurisdictions. Now I will be honored to host you at my home city, which - I hope – you’ll love.

To make your stay the most enjoyable, I have prepared and action packed few days the cost for which will be 220 Euro (ap 250 USD) covering the reception, party night, dinner and two lunches, bus trip to miraculous ancient salt mine at Wieliczka, visiting the Wawel Royal Castle, sightseeing the Old Town and Jewish Quarter.

We will also be hosted by the Krakow Chamber of Commerce and Krakow Bar Association, so there will be possibility not only to enjoy the attractions but to meet new people and get new contacts as well.

Poland it is not only Krakow and Wieliczka which are the most known places; I understand that it is hardly possible to visit all beautiful places, but strongly advise to take advantage of being here and spent some time to travel around. Please check our beautiful alpine Tatra Mountains south from Krakow with its thermal springs, visit Jura valleys around the Krakow with its medieval castles, or take a trip to visit other cities like Wrocław or Warsaw, both about three hours from Krakow. I will be happy to give you additional information or help to facilitate the visit.

The end of September in Poland is usually pleasant, but since it is autumn, please do not hesitate to check the weather forecast in advance.

The details of our reunion you may find in attached Itinerary, which could be subject of small adjustments.

In order to register to attend please book and pay through the CAIL website. I would also recommend to book your accommodation as soon as possible. Krakow is quite popular and there are always some congresses and festivals pending.

Some recommendations you may find in attached Itinerary. You may enjoy the discount rate if you book early and mention “CAIL REUNION”.

I very much look forward to welcome you in Krakow.

Best and warmest regards,
Andrzej Zacharzewski
