Overview
The 2024 election pits fundamentally different ideas of the role of international economic law against each other. “Tariffs” and the promises about raising tariffs by the Trump and Harris campaigns have become headline news on the front page of many publications. International trade and the international legal regimes governing trade and investment therefore are in the spotlight. The webinar will analyze how the U.S. will position itself on international trade and investment after the dust from the election settles. It will ask what the likely consequences of this election are going to be for international trade and investment law in more abstract terms and what the likely concrete repercussions are going to be for international commerce.
Registration is complimentary as a service to our International community. Details for connecting to the webinar will be sent shortly before the event.
