Overview
This event is organized and managed independently of SWIICL by alumni of the Academy of American and International Law. You must be an Academy alumni to attend.
The reunion provides alumni an opportunity to reconnect and meet alumni from other years while sightseeing and learning about Porto.
The participation fee is €515 per person (excluding VAT) and includes an exclusive experience designed to offer both professional and cultural enrichment: two lunches, one dinner, a scenic boat trip through the seven bridges, a tuk-tuk ride, and a guided walking tour in the historic city of Porto.
Important Information
Companies based in EU member states and other international markets may benefit from VAT exemption, in accordance with point (a) of paragraph 6 of Article 6 of the Portuguese VAT Code (CIVA). For EU-based companies, VAT exemption is only applicable if the company is validly registered in the VIES system.
Your registration will only be confirmed after payment is received and processed.
Please note that cancellations or no-shows are not eligible for a refund. We recommend confirming your availability before completing the payment.
This package does not include accommodation or transportation between activity venues.

Thursday, October 2
No official events are planned for this day, but it is anticipated that alumni arriving on Thursday will informally gather in the evening as a whole or in small groups.
Friday, October 3
- Morning Presentation: “Portugal: Opportunities and Incentives for Individuals and Businesses” at Porto Business School.
Speaker: Nuno Vieira da Silva, BBS Best Business Services - Lunch: Duorum Station – The Station, Av. Diogo Leite 454 4400-111 Vila Nova de Gaia
The lunch menu will include assorted starters, followed by a choice of main course. Beverages will include water, juice, beer, and wine. - Afternoon sightseeing: Scenic boat trip across the 7 bridges
- Dinner: Restaurante T&C, Rua do Choupelo, 4400-088 Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal
The dinner menu will include a choice of starters, followed by a choice of main course, and dessert. Beverages will include water, juice, beer, and wine.
Saturday, October 4
- Morning sightseeing: Tuk-Tuk Tour in Vila Nova de Gaia
Enjoy a scenic Tuk-Tuk ride with stops at Serra do Pilar, Jardim do Morro, and Cais de Gaia. - Lunch: Dourum Experience – Wine Bar & Store
- Afternoon Sightseeing: Guided walking tour in the historic city of Porto
- Dinner: No group dinner is planned but it is anticipated that alumni will informally gather for dinner in small groups.
Sunday, October 5
Overnight Accommodations
There is no official reunion hotel with a discounted rate. However, the following hotels have been recommended by the organizers:
Porto offers a wide range of hotels and short-term rental options to suit different budgets. Participants are encouraged to stay wherever they feel most comfortable.
