This program seeks to bring together alumni of the Academy of American and International Law to socialize, learn, and make new memories, while also introducing CAIL and the Academy to the guests of entities that participate in the Academy.

Space is limited so registration is required. The $30 USD registration fee covers the welcome reception and substantive program. CAIL’s goal is to keep the cost as low as possible to allow greater attendance. Participation in any other event is optional and will incur an additional charge, which will be determined as plans are finalized. Companies operating across Latin America must navigate regulatory systems that vary significantly by country, industry, and type of business activity. Bringing together both in-house and outside counsel perspectives, this panel will examine current and evolving regulatory risk or conducting business in Brazil and other areas in Latin America. The discussion will include a wide range of topics, including interactions with government authorities, infrastructure and energy products, consumer products, compliance, data privacy, and other regulated activities. The substantive program and reception will take place at the TozziniFreire offices on Avenida Brigadeiro Faria Lima in the Itaim Bibi district, one of São Paulo’s principal business and dining areas.
