Overview

In this interview, Corinne Montineri, Senior Legal Officer of UNCITRAL, will give an update on the key pending proposals for reform of international commercial (Working Group II) and of investor-state dispute resolution (Working Group III). While the 39th session of the Working Group III was postponed, a range of activities have continued to occur including webinars and the preparation of draft provisions. We will discuss the status of some of the most important reform options, including the proposal to create multilateral instruments on ISDS reform, the establishment of an advisory center, the drafting of a Code of Conduct for Adjudicators in ISDS and draft provisions for third-party funding. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions in the final portion the program.

In recognition of the extraordinary financial circumstances we are all confronting, and in appreciation for the support of our members, the program is free this year for all ITA and ASIL members.
