Overview
Presented by Young ITA
Supported by ICC YAF and YSIAC
Expert witnesses play a key role in international arbitration. With the technical jargon and complexities associated with many types of disputes in international arbitration, expert can make or break a party’s case. It is therefore critical to understand how to work effectively with expert witnesses, and make the most of their expertise and experience in the various stages of an arbitration.
You are invited to our event hosted by Young ITA, and supported by ICC YAF and YSIAC, on expert witnesses in international arbitration. The panelists will discuss from a practical perspective how to work effectively with an expert in the various stages of an arbitration. The discussion will address topics such as key considerations in choosing an expert, working with the expert to prepare reports and other work product, and best practices for witness preparation and examination.
The panel, featuring both lawyers and experts, will provide their insights and experiences in an interactive discussion. There will also be a roundtable and networking segment, where participants may share their perspectives and ask questions.
Details for connecting will be sent shortly after you register and again before the event. If you have any queries, please email Claudia Saddler.
