About the Faculty

Alice Wang

Alice serves as Asia co-chair for Young Institute for Transnational Arbitration, and is a senior associate at Pinsent Masons. Alice specialises in international arbitration, handling an array of cross-border disputes. She is experienced in advising on large-scale infrastructure and energy projects across the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and South America. Alice has been recognised as a "Rising Star" in construction law in Hong Kong for 2024 by the renowned legal rating agency, Doyles Guide.

Su Mien Tee

Su Mien Tee is a litigator who focuses her practice on cross-border arbitration and commercial litigation matters, including joint venture disputes and enforcement of or defense against arbitral awards and judgments. Ms. Tee represents high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients in multi-million dollar cross-jurisdictional disputes against various entities, including sovereigns and multinational corporations, and in complex litigation matters at all levels in the Singapore courts. Ms. Tee also represents creditors and debtors in complex, multi-jurisdictional bondholder disputes and debt enforcement, with a particular focus on the Asia-Pacific Region, which often involve suspected fraud and asset dissipation. Before joining Kobre & Kim, Ms. Tee practiced at Rajah & Tann Singapore, where she was involved in high-stakes arbitration and litigation matters. She also completed an attachment with a leading London set, Fountain Court Chambers under a Singapore Academy of Law scheme, and was appointed Young Amicus Curiae of the Singapore High Court in 2019.

Alex is a partner at JunHe’s New York office who has significant experience in cross-border business transactions and proceedings involving China. He also acts as outside general counsel to significant Chinese clients doing business in the U.S. and connects them with U.S. partners and professionals. A fellow of the American Bar Foundation, he is an adjunct professor at Fudan University’s Fanhai International School of Finance in Shanghai, and co-chairs Practicing Law Institute’s annual seminar on Doing Business in and with Emerging Markets in New York

Dr. Donna Huang
Director of ICC Arbitration and ADR for North Asia
Dr. Zhijin (Donna) Huang is the Director of ICC Arbitration and ADR for North Asia. Donna leads the North Asia team of ICC Dispute Resolution Services, Arbitration and ADR, overseeing ICC DRS activities and business development strategies across various jurisdictions including Hong Kong, China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Macao, Mongolia, Bangladesh, Laos, Cambodia, and others. In this capacity, she organizes large-scale conferences, delivers presentations and public speeches, authors papers, and cultivates relationships with governments, law firms, companies, arbitrators, and other stakeholders within the global arbitration community. Prior to joining the ICC, Donna built her professional career as a law professor at a Chinese university and as a part-time lawyer at a boutique law firm in Shanghai.Donna has contributed over 40 professional articles and commentaries to esteemed publications such as the South China Morning Post, Asia Law Portal, Conventus Law, Law Asia, and academic journals.

Sherlin Tung

Sherlin is a partner in the international arbitration and litigation team at Withers. She is a specialist in cross-border corporate and commercial disputes with a particular focus on international commercial arbitration, international contracts, international trade law (notably the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods), and multi-jurisdiction disputes. Sherlin acts as counsel, sits as an arbitrator, and acts as an expert on international arbitration procedures. She is ranked in Chambers, Benchmark Litigation, and Who's Who Legal. Sherlin is qualified in California and New York and a Registered Foreign Lawyer in Hong Kong. Sherlin is native in Mandarin Chinese and English, has working proficiency in Spanish and has basic German skills (A2).
