Presented by Young ITA
Co-sponsored by Corrs Chambers Westgarth, Young AMINZ and Chapman Tripp
Join us for an advocacy masterclass delivered by a panel of experienced barristers from Australia and New Zealand. This session, held in collaboration with Young AMINZ will provide practical strategies for effective advocacy in arbitration, covering:
- Written advocacy – structuring persuasive memorials
- Witness statements & expert reports – drafting with impact
- Maintaining credibility – advocacy do’s and don’ts
- Cross-examination – essential techniques for success
- Oral argument – the art of openings and closings
The event will be structured into four parts, covering case theory fundamentals, procedural hearings, written advocacy and evidentiary hearings, followed by a Q&A session with expert practitioners.
This hybrid event will feature networking drinks in Sydney and Wellington, offering an opportunity to connect with peers. In Sydney, drinks will follow the panel discussion, while in Wellington, networking drinks will precede this.
