About the Speakers
Gabrielle Kaufmann-Kohler is one of the world’s leading international arbitrators and a Partner at LKK Arbitration in Geneva. She has acted in more than 220 international arbitrations, primarily as arbitrator, in commercial, investment and sports disputes under the rules of the world’s leading arbitral institutions, including ICSID, ICC, LCIA, AAA and SIAC. She is Honorary President and former President of the International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA), Honorary President of the Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA), and Professor Emerita at the University of Geneva. She is also the founder and former Director of the Geneva LL.M. in International Dispute Settlement (MIDS).
Mayra Bryce is a Partner at Payet, Rey, Cauvi, Pérez, where she specializes in international law, investment and commercial arbitration, civil and commercial dispute resolution, and contract law. She holds an LL.M. in International Legal Studies from New York University and previously worked as an International Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York. She has also served as an arbitrator for leading arbitration centers in Peru and is actively involved in the international arbitration community, including through Young ICCA, where she has served as Co-Director of the Events Team.
