Registration Overview

In an effort to ensure the safety of faculty, participants and staff, program participants will be required to follow certain procedures that comply with CAIL-mandated safety protocols for our programs: CAIL’s Criminal Justice Programs COVID Protocols. Please do not register now if you are cannot attend in-person and adhere to CAIL’s COVID Protocols for any reason. Conference attendees should prepare to be masked if required. Attendees may be requested to wear a mask at the conference, except when presenting or actively eating or drinking.

This program is funded by a grant from the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. Thanks to this grant, the seminar is offered tuition-free to most participants.  Registration is required to attend, and provides for lunch and the materials.  Materials will be provided electronically and attendees will receive access details at the seminar (you will need a laptop, or another electronic device that is Wi-Fi enabled, and equipped with a PDF reader to access the materials during the seminar).

Confirmations will be sent to all registrants. Free registrants must attend the program to receive materials. If due, payment must accompany registration. Texas Attorneys: A Texas Bar number is required below.

*Tuition will be used to cover future expenses for CAIL's Criminal Law grant programs or to provide for items that the grant cannot sufficiently cover. Voluntary payments will go directly to CAIL’s private fund account.

Cancellation Policy

Written cancellation must be received 5 business days prior to a program to receive a refund (Email: lgaspar@cailaw.org). After this date, no refunds, but substitution of attendees for this program will be permitted with prior approval. Registrants not entitled to a refund will receive the course materials.
