Overview

The IEL’s Young Energy Professionals are pleased announce the 5th Rockies General Counsel Forum will be held Tuesday, October 22, in Denver, Colorado.

This one-hour panel will focus on the recent legislative and regulatory changes to operating in Colorado in the wake of Senate Bill 19-181, as well as include general discussion of how companies adapt to legislative and regulatory changes in any state.  The panelists may discuss how companies approach these types of issues and educate themselves on the same, whether companies are involved in lobbying or otherwise participating in the political process, how companies adjust their development plans when these types of issues arise, whether our panelists see value in being approached by external counsel with information about these types of updates (and if so, what is the best way to do that), and other similar topics.  The discussion may also cover specific impacts on operations due to SB 19-18.
