Mark Christiansen (McAfee & Taft) and Jack Lewis (Chevron) welcomed interested members at a planning luncheon for November’s annual energy litigation conference in the Downtown Club at Houston Center on March 28th. Planning lunches are a great way for conference chairs to gather information from practitioners about topics they really want to have covered at the conference, and the energy litigation lunch was no exception, with a lively discussion resulting in a list of potential topics long enough to fill two or more conferences.
Mark and Jack will now advance the list of suggestions into a conference program, and begin to select and invite speakers. It’s not too late to suggest topics or speakers – or to volunteer to speak – by emailing IEL co-director Alan Dunlop.
