The Institute for Energy Law (IEL), a division of The Center for American and International Law (CAIL), recently held its 3rd Annual Excellence in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) Award Reception in Houston, Texas. The event recognized Linda Perez Clark of Kean Miller LLP and Chevron, represented by Josetta Jones, for their leadership and commitment to advancing DE&I in the energy industry.

The evening featured inspiring moments that celebrated the honorees' impactful work. Chevron highlighted its DE&I strategies, emphasizing how DE&I is woven into its organizational fabric. Attendees also enjoyed a powerful fireside chat with Linda Perez Clark, moderated by Tod Everage, where she reflected on her personal journey, the importance of DE&I, and the transformative Kean Miller Connection program, which supports diverse professionals entering the legal field. Linda credited her career to DE&I programs that provided her with critical opportunities, inspiring the audience to take action in their own organizations.
