The Institute for Energy Law (IEL), a division of The Center for American and International Law (CAIL), is proud to announce Chevron Corporation and Linda Perez Clark of Kean Miller LLP, as the recipients of its third Excellence in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award. The award presentation, which will be followed by remarks addressing diversity, equity, and inclusion issues, will be held at The Asia Society Texas Center, on Tuesday, December 3.

"The Institute for Energy Law is proud to recognize both Chevron Corporation and Linda Perez Clark for their outstanding leadership in advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the energy and legal sectors,” stated Vickie Adams, CAIL Vice President and Co-Director of IEL. “This marks a significant moment as we honor both an organization and an individual for their unwavering commitment to fostering a more inclusive industry. Their contributions are a vital example of the progress we need to continue driving forward."

Established in 2022 by IEL's Executive Committee, the Excellence in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award recognizes individuals or organizations in the energy sector that champion DEI within the legal profession. The award honors those who have demonstrated a sustained commitment to advancing DEI and have shown leadership by creating opportunities for the growth and development of diverse talent. This year, IEL will present two awards: one to an organization and one to an individual, celebrating their outstanding contributions to fostering a more inclusive energy industry and legal community.
