Overview

This is the first of four seminars will focus on four of the most urgent and thorny elements of the Draft Code of Conduct for Adjudicators in Investor-State Dispute Settlement (ISDS), which was recently published by ICSID and UNCITRAL:

In each seminar, experts from a variety of backgrounds will discuss the proposed text, the possible options included in the draft Code’s bracketed text, different policies options as well as the systemic implications that each provisions may have in the effort of ISDS reform.

These webinars are presented for free as a public service on these important issues of international arbitration practice.

This first webinar will focus on issue conflict. Experts will present the issue of issue conflict as addressed in the Draft Code and will discuss what are the possible approaches to regulate it.
