ITA Americas Workshop

Held in a different Latin American capital city each year since 2005, the 2-day Americas Workshop is an important forum for international arbitration practitioners in or interested in Latin America. Customarily presented with the leading arbitral institution in the region, the Americas Workshop traditionally includes mock arbitration scenes written and performed by international experts to demonstrate key issues of practice in Latin America, expert commentaries and panels, an ITA Forum for informal off-the-record discussion of current issues, a young arbitrators Americas Roundtable and a variety of social activities. The program is customarily presented with simultaneous translation in Spanish, English and Portuguese.

Pertinent ITA committees, including the Americas Initiative Committee and the Young ITA Committee, meet during the conference. Advisory Board members have an option to attend the entire Americas Workshop, as well as the membership activities, for free.
