ILEA Advisory Board President Dr. Theron Bowman (Chief Arlington PD, ret.) and Associate Director Dr. Dan Primozic have co-authored a chapter in the newly released text Law Enforcement Ethics - Classic and Contemporary Issues edited by Dr. Brian Fitch and published by Sage Publishing. This 18 chapter text covers everything from the foundation of ethics, ethical perspectives, professionalism and ethical challenges. The chapter co-authored by Dr. Bowman and Dr. Primozic discusses police misconduct and moral crimes against self. It provides a manner of self-assessment that can be applied by anyone facing moral issues in their lives.
