ILEA Director Gregory Smith showcased on KRLD News Radio 1080

DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Just one day after President Trump took part in a roundtable on police reform in Dallas, U.S. Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) will hold a similar discussion Friday with local leaders and law enforcement officials.

As the nation looks for answers and advances in racial justice following the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis, Gregory Smith has valuable input to offer.

Mr. Smith is a former police officer and longtime police ethics instructor.  He is the director of the Plano-based Institute for Law Enforcement Administration.

KRLD's Chris Sommer asked him where discussions on police reform should start.
